Does the tattoo hurt?

A piercing should always be shortened only after it has healed completely. As the sensation of pain is different for everyone, this question is difficult to answer. Everyone should experience it for themselves. It may not be the most pleasant feeling in the world, but it is definitely worth the experience.

Which creams are suitable for the tattoo?

There is a wide range on offer here. We recommend our Stechwerk Tattoo Cream or Panthenol, Bepanthen Plus or a wound/healing ointment that is not perfumed. In any case, no Vaseline or greasy creams.

Why do you have to touch up finger tattoos more often?

Simply put: hands are in constant use. They are washed, disinfected, creamed, etc. several times a day. This causes the skin to renew itself more quickly and therefore the color is worked out faster.

Is the re-stitching free of charge?

Yes, re-stitching is included for up to 3 months.

Can you consume alcohol or other drugs before getting a tattoo?

No, because alcohol and other substances dilute the blood, making it harder for the body to absorb the color properly.

How do I recognize an inflammation on a tattoo?

If redness or pain persists for too long, e.g. more than a week, or if your tattoo starts to fester. You should not wait too long and visit one of our stores.
